Just finished off a tank, removed it from the ZMax, cleaned everything with a paper towel, refilled tank, put in a new batt. Turned the ZMax on, ran thru the menu, tank is showing at 1.7 ohms, batt showing at 4.2 volts. Checked the setting for power, we are set at 5.5 watts. Hit the button to take a vape and....nothing. Can't get anything up on the menu at all. Take out batt to reset everything, i go thru all the steps mentioned. Same ohms and wattage show, hit the button and nothing and again, no menu etc.

I try the tank on another mod, it works, put a vivi nova on the ZMax, same thing happens, I end up with nothing. Now the button works cause I go thru all the menu and changed things, but once I'm hitting the button to vape, nothing and I have to reset by removing the battery. Any idea about what's going on?

When you tried the tank on another mod did you use the same battery that was in the Zmax- the one you put it and then the Zmax wouldn't fire?
Just troubleshooting here - since the problem started with the second battery in the Zmax - wondering if the battery is failing so won't power a fire but can put out enough for menu changes.

Well, the volts are showing, via the menu, 4.2 volts, but it's a good idea, let me check a few other batts.

Now that's interesting.....the two that I got from Vapage for my VMod, fire the VMod, and the lavatube, but not the ZMax. The ones I bought for the ZMax and lavatube fire all 3 mods, very interesting.

Kiwi, you troubleshooting vaper you. Thanks. Wonder what's up with these two batts.
