.....ooooohhhhh....you got it BAAAAAD! Carry on!

Nah, just need 3 for starters to really give them a good test. ;)

Congrats! Your just a smart soul getting a good start.

Well, don't know about how smart, but if I am going to "collect" them I bought one today mainly for that, a get one while you can Reo... a real nice VVG.

I would say you are def a reonaut Spydro! I have two and want another but I'm waiting for the wood sale in December. Sucks having to wait!

I hope to score at least one Woodvil well before the next sale.

Speaking of woodvils, are they as difficult to get as everyone makes it out to be? I'm definitely going to be refreshing my .... off when they are available!

The problem I have with the Woodvils... as a hobby mostly I crafted domestic and exoctic woods, most of it exhibiton grade, for over 50 years of my life. Still have a bunch of very high grade wood from around the world in storage with what is left of my wood shop that is also packed away. So not just any Woodvil is going to get top billing in my stash, and hte folks that have them are not selling them that I've seen. Probably means I won't ever score one like that unless I was lucky enough to get one at Rob's annual sale.

Lol @ that thread! So basically for my best chances, handwrite my order on paper and mail it with a stamp a few minutes after the woodvils are added to the site to ensure a guaranteed chance at one?!

It does sound like fun tho, until you realize you didn't get one haha!

I can't wait! [emoji2]

Yep. You've pretty much got the drill. ACTUALLY, back in the beginning....the old days....even metal REOs were very hard to get. He could NEVER keep any stock because everybody snatched them up the minute he offered them up. Nowadays it's not nearly as bad as we're making it sound. If you are willing to be open-minded and "settle" for your second or third choice, I think everybody who goes for one in a timely fashion (be there and be ready when the sale begins) can get one. You can't dawdle. They WILL be gone.

Every once in a Blue moon a sweet Woodville hits the classifieds but only last minutes until gone.

Maybe I need to change tactics... try and work out a trade for one with wood I really, really like. Have lots of "shines" as Angie said, including some collectable unicorn ProVari's that were barely used that would easily equal or better the value of a sweet Woodvil, the prototype an exceptionally sweet Woodvil... and THE unicorn GP PAPS still unused that would have way higher value than the sweetest of sweet Woodvil's. By high value I mean based on their comparitive costs, but only to collectors of them probably. Hmmm
