Welcome to Reoville, I'd go RM2 and drill the air hole out.
How big is the stock air hole?

Awesome, congrats, glad to finally see you here!![]()
Darkzero... the man, the legend.Love ya!
Hmmm... well I'd like to hear from those who don't use the RM2 as to why - it's a fairly expensive atty for what it is, so I'd be interested in knowing all the pluses and minuses before I leap in. If there's something better out there for the Mini (or at least better for my vaping style), now would be an awesome time to find out...

The RM2 3/64"

It really is not very expensive, at least in terms of bottom fed attys. I mean the Hornet is around $75. The A7/A7 Mini is only around $20, but it is not super reliable and could cause shorts. The Vision Eternity is probably one of the other common attys, but I am not sure if it fits on the REO Mini. For being a quality RDA with a ceramic base, the RM2 is not very expensive.
Some things that it is better with: 1. It can fit on all REOs. 2. The juice feeding is good. 3. It does not get hot on account of the ceramic base. 4. It produces an insane amount of vapor.
Do you think 5/64th would be too big? Don't want to ruin it...

Sounds like a plan. One reason I like an airier draw is the vapor production.I can't really say but I do know that you like more on the airy side. I just rebuilt a buddy's RM2 a couple of days ago & made the air hole 5/64" (used to be 1/16"). That thing put out more vapor than I have ever experienced on a Reo but it was sub-ohm. On a Mini 14500 Sub-ohm is not really recommended, you can with the IMR14500, just don't go extreme. But it was direct lung hit all the way, too airy for for mouth to lung but that's just me. I have a feeling he may want 3/32" the next time I rebuild it.
I would say try 1/16" for a few days first, then move up to 5/64" if you need to. The RM2 is brass so it's really easy to drill out the hole.

I can vape on the mini at .8 or .9, right? I mean, that should be safe, so long as I don't go any lower? (This will be my first time on a 14500.)
i have 13 RM2s, i gave one to a friend. Either i am extremely stupid, extremely rich, or i rate them. The jury is out.

Ahahahaha - that's a classic. Hi supertrunkerreally depends on what coils you make doesn't it? i don't use cotton and microcoils although that seems to be the assumption these days.
i like big manly coils wrapped from transformer wire by bare-knuckle boxers. 5/64ths indeed!
