Sore spot indeed, G!!!

Because I'm a fan of BWB that negates my opinion of their product?
You made some "fan" statements about what you like & dislike.

I don't care for the overhyped Wyatt Earp. Tastes like doody. Not that I've tasted doody. But I'm positive it tastes like WE. Taste is subjective. That's why I don't post a negative on every thread that has claims of it being great. The vendor doesn't need trashed because "I" don't like it.

Do you really think people live in fear of juice vendors? Can they really come after me? If so, FSUSA has a hit squad out on me now.

Lol there ya go :) I also dislike wyatt earp VERY much. I even bought it twice to make sure because I heard so my hype :)

One BIG difference here though. Wyatt doesn't taste like soap or chemical. I'm not talking about juices that just dont fit my palette, I'm talking about juices that taste like nuclear waste. In my experience, it seems there are quite a few long term ex smokers that cant taste the difference. I can honestly say Wyatt Earp is a good juice that I don't like. I would say the same about BWB. Good juice, not to my liking. What did annoy me was the false expectations set up by the fans of BWB. The reviews and recommendations that said "PERFECT throat hit. A real THWOMP at the back of your throat. Great vapor production. Tons of malty toffee flavor that is absolutely perfect. My all day vape. Don should be knighted for his customer service" My experience was MUCH different and honestly quite the opposite. Flavor was very subtle and I like it strong. Throat hit was non-existant. It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in vaping and I've dealt with at least 20 vendors. I wasted money on juice because I was told it was something other than what it was. Like I said, I must have gotten 20+ PMs of people who had the same experience as me and thanked me for "voicing" my HONEST opinion. Needless to say, I no longer consider reviews from random people.

In regards to the "fan" statements, If you like something, GREAT! Tell people, do reviews, and by all means spread the happiness that you have found with that vendor but please, PLEASE don't go telling people it's something that it's not. If you try a juice that tastes like rocket fuel, say it. As I said earlier 95% of the reviews are positive ones. Wheres the balance? You can't have good without the bad and after watching enough reviews I've learned that there is no reference to what is bad because everybody seems to like everything.

I can't really disagree with any of the above. On the other hand I see lots of posts about bad equipment especially cartos and people don't hesitate to name the vendor. The difference is that taste is so subjective and changes from hour to hour and day to day. One day you can have cold and everything tastes like crap. Sometimes I vape and can't taste anything at all for no apparent reason. Then there the fact that something that tastes like crap to me is vapors heaven to someone else. To me some juices with what to me is too much flavor taste soapy. I get that from berry juices in particular. So I don't have much confidence in saying that a juice tastes like crap. I can only say it doesn't taste good to me.

Now when I put a carto in what I know is a good battery and it produces no vapor I can definitely say the this carto is a piece of crap. Even then I would give the vendor a chance to make good on it. In fact I would give him several chances before complaining about him on this forum.

The reason post negative reviews on hardware vendors is because they can get the same hardware somewhere else. Most vendors only have 1 place to get their juice from and thats from them. I agree taste is subjective, TO A POINT. In response to you post, it sounds like your beating a dead horse in a desert thats 200 miles away. What your catching is not what I'm throwing.

All I'm trying to do is to get people to realize that voicing their honest opinions (which sometimes are negative) regarding juice vendors is very important. The OP "respects" vendors so he doesn't say when he gets a juice he doesn't like and tastes funky. To me, thats ... backwards! If you respect vendors than you will be honest when you do a juice review and if they respect their customers, they will listen!

Any time I've ever had an issue with a vendor I've always contacted them first. I ordered an iphone case as a christmas present for my GF 2 months ago and it still hasn't arrived. Instead of posting feedback, I will wait for the suppliers response. Whether they send me 2 free cases and a Hungarian ......, or refused to compensate at all, be damned if I'm going to say anything other than exactly what happened when I post a review.

Hello
I wonder if anyone can help or at least knows what I'm talking about.
I'm a relatively new vaper and up until yesterday have been really enjoying it. But since then I have been trying to fight the urge to buy a packet of cigarettes.
The problem is with my ejuice. I got it from TW and it is great but because vaping was so new I found I wasn't putting the cig down much so I added a few menthol crystals and a bit of VG. This made the vaping experince even better and evertything was great.
But then the night before yessterday I also added a 5ml bottle of a minty flavour from another vendor and a bit more VG to the bottle. Since then it all tasted really really soapy and yuk. The only other juice I have is from this new vendor and again even though the first day they were fine now its all soapy and yuk.
I ordered some more supplies and really hope they get here by wed because I dont want to go back to smoking.
Ive tried to wash out the atties and tried new cartos incase it was the atties (the cartos taste really chemically too. Do these need priming?) but I think it is the juice.
Or at least I hope it was because if not its my taste buds and I cant order more of those.
Has anyone eles had soapy juice?

Is this just my taste buds and will it get better?

You might want to try backwoods brew. all of his juice is great

A lot of the flavors I get from VaporBomb and Gourmet Vapor need to steep, especially if they're creamy dessert type flavors. The same thing applies to my DIY juices. It's just the nature of the beast. Some flavors that I've found immediately vapable are Cafe Mocha and most coffee type flavors, RY4, Peach, Strawberry, Kahlua and Irish Creme.

The trouble is he had mixed 2 juices together with out tasting the dam stuff before doing it. He has added menthol crystals and a bit of VG then 5 ml's of the mystery juice, it would not be fair to say where it came from because it's no longer the minty flavor he bought. Some time e-liquid reacts differently based on what is being mixed with it. Try leaving the cap & tip off the bottle for a day or 2 you might be able to get rid of the soapy taste. Look at this as a lesson to not DYI a juice untasted into a large amount that you might not be able to vape.

I think the OP is going about this the right way... First off asking the forum if anyone has had similar experiences, then waiting to try the juice with different equipment to make sure it is in fact a bad juice, or an equipment issue. I think that is very responsible as a reviewer.

With e-cigs, there are so many variables... with equipment, voltages, resistances of atomizers, nic level of juices, pg/vg ratio of juices, etc..
