I recently bought a solar powered backpack from ebay that was on sale on the daily deals. It was $139 and came with a 5000mah battery. This solar panel was durable but not flexible (sort of like a trade off I guess). The backpack itself is very tough and padded. It is great if you are outdoors a lot but it will also charge the internal battery in your car or window of your home. Some models also charge in lamp light, or so I am told. I never have to worry about dead batteries again. I alternate the charging between my 510 batteries, PCC, cell phone, and EGO. Not a bad investment if you are always on the go. Make sure to get a removable battery that can be charged from AC if you need to charge it in a hurry. In St. Louis it will charge fully on a clear day, but it makes a difference where you live and what season it is, etc. I can't remember the brand it was, but I love it.

edit: It also had connectors for my PSP, MP3 player and digital camera. It has a very nice padded place for your laptop, but the battery will not charge a laptop.
