I went halves on a piece of 1 1/8" diameter, 1.5' length of solid brass with a buddy. They didn't have any 1" dia in stock, I figured I would mention that before someone asks why I got such a large diameter.
I am taking my time on this mechanical since I am waiting for some magnets and a 7mm .5 pitch tap to come in, and I am still working on designing the bottom fire button.
Those are actually in chronological order, I forgot to take a picture of the solid brass rod or this piece before I started to shave it down to size. I figure with work and class it should be a couple of weeks before I finish it. oh and the groove is a mistake, I bumped the auto feed switch into cut.
