I just got 2 of these tanks in a trade from the classifieds, and am happy with the looks on the Ego Twist, as well as the performance of the Boge 2.0s in them. However, 1 problem that I am having that I can't seem to find any help on is the extremely tight fit with the cartos.
When I am inserting the carto into the tank, I have to keep the white plug in the top so that it slides through the bottom o-ring, usually without issues. Once I get to the top o-ring it is almost like the black plastic piece on top of the tank is too small for the carto. I have to actually hit them on the top plastic piece with a screwdriver handle to get the carto to go through. Taking the carto out to fill is another hassle in itself. Being only 2ml (not buying that!) I had to refill it 3 times yesterday, and go through this ordeal all 3 times.
I'm wondering if someone else hasn't had this problem, and found a solution to it, or if it is just the tanks that I got. I'm almost worried that I'm going to dismantle the tank when I'm trying to pull the carto down, or end up ripping the top connector off of my Twist. The thread cover on the bottom of the tank makes it fairly hard to do anything to it without using another carto to "pound" it down through the top hole. It definitely doesn't slide around like so many people complain about these tanks doing.
Any advice?
