I just got 2 of these tanks in a trade from the classifieds, and am happy with the looks on the Ego Twist, as well as the performance of the Boge 2.0s in them. However, 1 problem that I am having that I can't seem to find any help on is the extremely tight fit with the cartos.

When I am inserting the carto into the tank, I have to keep the white plug in the top so that it slides through the bottom o-ring, usually without issues. Once I get to the top o-ring it is almost like the black plastic piece on top of the tank is too small for the carto. I have to actually hit them on the top plastic piece with a screwdriver handle to get the carto to go through. Taking the carto out to fill is another hassle in itself. Being only 2ml (not buying that!) I had to refill it 3 times yesterday, and go through this ordeal all 3 times.

I'm wondering if someone else hasn't had this problem, and found a solution to it, or if it is just the tanks that I got. I'm almost worried that I'm going to dismantle the tank when I'm trying to pull the carto down, or end up ripping the top connector off of my Twist. The thread cover on the bottom of the tank makes it fairly hard to do anything to it without using another carto to "pound" it down through the top hole. It definitely doesn't slide around like so many people complain about these tanks doing.

Any advice?

Hmm. I will try that with the 2nd drip tip that came with the tanks, on the other tank I've got.

Edit: Just tried, and the drip tip is stuck in the tank with the carto half out now lol :( This is gonna be fun getting it back out.

It almost seems like the top plastic piece's opening is the exact same width as the carto, and that the carto is going to be shaving plastic off of it by inserting it through. Even using the SmokTech carto that came pre-punched is causing the same problems.

Do you have these tanks? Are you able to slide the carto in and out with your fingers? Even when I've got half the carto sticking out of the bottom of the tank I'm not able to slide it around with my fingers at all.

Something else I am wondering is whether or not I can dismantle one of these completely. If I take it apart is it going to leak on me in the future?

Was using these for a while. I loved them until I noticed an issue with the top cap. The rubber on the outside where the small o ring that seals around the carto is really thin. After repeated use the rubber is going to crack. There will be nothing keeping the o ring in place.

What irritates me is that the smoketech 3ml and 5ml tanks can have polished aluminum caps.

The ego 2.5ml tanks already has aluminum on the bottom cap and if the top was made out metal too the issue would not exist.

If you get the chance get the regular 510 dct tank and a cone adapter. Everything is pretty cheap and available on madvapes.com.
