so this might be dumb lol, but vaping has been great and i dont smoke at all from sunday to friday, but when i do have some drinks on the weekend, its so tempting to have some real cigs, and i did last time i drank. I've been vaping mostly 6 or 12 mg juices, which is on the weaker side right? any suggestions how to not get smoke an analog on those nights when everyone around you is? maybe get an 18 or 24 mg juice? will that satisfy the craving? :)

Like others have said, a juice with a good solid throat hit can solve this. For me at least. That was the real test when I first went vape-only. Whether or not I would crave a cig when I drank coffee, espresso, or booze and thankfully I didn't. I started mostly with a RY4 that had a very nice tobacco flavor. Not sure if dessert type stuff would work for me when drinking, but I doubt it. It satisfied completely :)

Chain Vape if necessary. I use to vape steady as soon as I got a few beers into me. Wait. . . . I still do that lol. 6 or so months in and I mist it up like Niagara Falls when I'm drinking. I always found that if I chain vaped whenever a craving for a cig arose it would get me through it. It was the same when I was sober. Heavy craving, chain vape until it goes away.

Flavor, throat hit do nothing for me when I drink. I need more nicotine, definitely. I use two ways to boost nicotine:
1. Obvious one – switch from usual 12 mg to 24 mg.
2. Bump wattage a bit a have drag after drag after drag for a while, until I feel its good enough.

EDIT: 24 mg not for a whole night, it can be too much for me.

Yep! I'd go for an 18mg tobacco flavored ejuice. Try and replicate a regular cigarette in vapor form as close as possible at first and see if it helps. I don't care for too many tobacco flavors, but Namberjuice has one called thunderbird that's pretty amazing. It's like you're chewing on a sweet tobacco leaf or something. Really tasty.

I was able to stop smoking while drinking after switching to a RDA. Not sure how long you been at this, but its one of the ones you drip in. It gives more vapor, and you do not need high nic levels. Or at least I dropped mine significantly in a short period of time (12mg-6mg in a matter of weeks). Started off with coils between 1 and 1.5 ohms. This should work on most VV and VW and you don't need the greatest RDA ever. Mine was on sale from mad vapes for 5 dollars and it was 17mm, so it fit on a regular ego pen. I thought it would be a pain in the but to drip, but it is about as difficult as finding a lighter and lighting a cig. I agree that the juice choice is really important also. I started with sour candyish apple, ecto (lime soda) and other soda juices when I was drinking liqueur and had a tobacco that I thought was good back then for when I was drinking beer. Since then, I have actually found juices I love with beer and liqueur. I love stouts and as weird as it sounds I vape a banana tobacco that is just oh so great with them. If you want to try some good tobaccos, I have really enjoyed "Avail Vapor" tobacco juices. Tribal and gold rush are what I bring to the bar with me and they are both really rich. I do not use tobacco flavored juices all the time, in fact, I find them kind of overpowering when I am not drinking. Anyway, hope you find something that works for you. I remember the struggle, trying to keep vaping when drinking (esp. when friends were smoking), but I can honestly say that I do not even think about a cig when I drink now. Now I look forward to a nice sour vape with bourbon or sour mash on the rocks, or a honey tobacco with a lager or IPA. The urge will eventually dissipate. Just keep searching for what works for you
