-My first question is that Im looking into adding an eGo to my collection. Is a Ego batterie a 510thread or no? I just think it would be nice to have that big fat 650mAh batterie on my 510 stuff. I do have some big manual 510 mega batteries on the way but like I said would like if the eGo would fit too.
-Second question. How do I know if when i buy attys they are the recesed type like the yeti's and not the pointy ones like I just got from volcano.
-#3 How come Volcanos milk chocolate cartos tast like a plastic factory..yuck. In all fairness I do like there cool lookin little 510 black auto batteries with the purple Led's they work great.
Looking foward to your answers.
Thanks
Picklesworth.

Well there are both 510 and 808D-1 egos. A great ego-style is called the PigCig but it is a D1 connection. 510 atomizers have a male connection while D1 atomizers have a female connection (or recessed as you said.) There are many vendors for egos but all of their products are the same for the most part. Anyone who says otherwise is just trying to promote the company. Personally I like the PigCig with a ce2 cartomizer on it. You can buy either a 510 ego style or a D1 ego style (PigCig) from lecig.com.

I don't think their 510 egos are called egos; rather a 510 tank (kit) but you shouldn't get that. If you want a 510 ego you should just get the battery for it and the rest is cake. I do prefer the PigCig as I mentioned before.

1. Yes you can buy the eGo in 510 threads. In all honesty, I'm not sure what other types of threading is available.

2. When purchasing atomizers, you need to pay close attention to the thread type. Example: 510 atomizer, LR 510 atomizer, kr808d-1 atomizer, 901 atomizer...I think I made my point here. You need to buy the type to match your battery.

3. Most factory filled cartos suck IMO. Most aren't filled to full capacity either. Buy yourself some blank Boge standard resistance cartos and some good juice. Fill them yourself as filling yourself is cheaper than buying them already filled.

Thanks Blowgunguy. Perfect timing too I was just looking at pigcigs going "what the heck is a D1 now?" What I ment is the bridge some stick out like an inverted V and others (yeti) sit recessed below the rim. It can be hard to tell in pics. as a cap is usualy on the atty.
Im with you hairball, stearing clear of prefilled carts. Half the fun is in adding your own flavors anyway. Im hip to the atty /battery thread thing. I just bought some smoketech dual coil cartos as i hear good things. Im abig fan of blank cartos as It makes more sense to me then cleaning attys. Although I do have a few. I drip[ with them on my S. Bullet or put them on my 510 batteries.
I apreciate the help
Cheers,Picklesworth.

the majority of ego type models are going to be 510 threaded, but to be sure check the listing, most of the sites ive seen list it as a feature. I'm guessing that you ordered the "lava" atomizer from volcano when you mention the exposed bridge, that looks like a 306 (an atomizer with 510 threading but a different internal design and and exposed bridge, primarily used for dripping) but volcano doesn't list the model numbers next to their products so i am not 100% sure.
