My current setup is a sigelei 50w with an arctic horizon clearo using the .5 single coils. I really want to try out the .2 dual coils but I need something a little more powerful in the mod department to pull that off. I was really thinking about the IPV 3 but can you guys recommend some others for me to look at? I want to evaluate all my options and just wanted to hear you guys's opinion the ipv 3 and on other box mods in the 100-150w range.

It's my understanding with the Sigelei 50w, it can handle 0.2 ohms to 3.0 ohms. You should be fine with the 50w you have now.

If i had to do it again, I'd probably get the sigelei 150w or 100w. I had the IPV3 and I liked it, but there would've been things I'd wish was different when I had it. I did like the 165 watt upgrade with the IPV3 though because it read ohms more accurately, such as 0.56 ohms instead of 0.6 like before the update.

IPV 3 is a solid device, but it has some quirks. Fire button is a bit uncomfortable, and I wish there were a way to disable the memory setting feature, because it's basically useless since it resets to defaults every time batteries are changed (or maybe I just don't know how to disable it??). Also, the way the chip is set up, the memory feature impedes quick up-wattage adjustments, because you have to bypass it by first adjusting down, then up, or it'll jump to the memory presets. Sounds like more of a PITA than it really is, but it's there.

Other than that, it's a workhorse.

I almost bought the IPV3 but decided not to. It just looked to cheap and mass produced for my taste. I settled on the Sigelei 150w and could not be more pleased. Plenty of power and I really dig the magnets that hold the back plate on. They are super strong so even if you drop it, it's not going to pop open on you. Not to mention it comes with a free black rubber case thingy. The LCD screen is bright and easy to read. Can fire coils down to total resistance of 0.1 ohms.

I absolutely LOVE my box. It's built really solid as well. Seems like it's build much better than the trendy IPV3. Best part is I can run dual coils at 100+ watts for 8 hours or more before needing to swap batteries. :)

My iPV 3 has been a solid device since day one! I know a lot of people dislike the back door screws but after a few drops to the pavement I have come to be thankful for them. Besides that I have had absolutely wonderful experiences with my iPV 3.

PS: segelei and P4U are run by the same company, just different quirks to each one, you can't go wrong with either.

Hey now! I LOVE back door screwing!!! Just sayin...

Sigelei 50W will absolutely be fine down to 0.2ohms! I have one, run it at 0.2 to 0.3 constantly, it'll just burn through your battery pretty quick!!
