Me and the girlfriend got us some V2 cig-a-likes. After much research on here, we have discovered we overpayed... We may keep them for "out and about" PVs, but for home use, we'd like something more.

We've come to the conclusion that we like the eGo Twist type batteries, and the ViVi Nova tank system.

We do have a couple of questions though.

For the eGo Twist, are these eGo-C or eGo-T or an entity of their own? Also, what kind of charger do they require? And a good place to buy them?

As for the ViVi Nova, how do these work exactly? I just pop the cap and put the juice in and go, or what?

Also, all I need to start would be these things, correct?:

-eGo Twist (be it -C or -T or whatever)

-ViVi Nova (and some extra atomizers for it?)

-charger

-juice

I just want us to have a good experience with vaping, so we can quit the stinky analogs!

Thanks!

the ego c and ego t from what I have witnessed are the same the difference comes with joyetech proprietary atomizer. But I would just stick with the ego twist I think it's the c model. I don't know what size battery your looking at but just so you know the 650mah will last about 3/4 of a day with normal vaping where the 1000mah will last a day and a half. I perfer the size of the 650mah because the 1000mah in my opinion is a little big. For chargers just get a fast charge charger or a standard ego cahrger, make sure it is for the ego, where ever you buy your ego will sell them. Also get a usb to wall charger adapter, I used my iphone wall charger because I already had one and it worked well. To use the vivi nova just twist off the cap fill it up just below where the wick is and screw the cap back on. When the cap is on take the drip tip off and make sure that the rubber grommet that is on top of the head (The part that holds the wick) is lined up perfectly with the hole in the metal cap otherwise the vivi will leak and essentially flood the wick. For replacement heads the vivi nova comes with 2.8ohm 2.4ohm and 1.8ohm I would try all three before you buy replacements to see which one you like the best. Don't forget to get a thread cover for the ego I think they are about $2 and they make it look a lot better by covering the unused threads on the ego. Other than that I think you will be good.

I just placed an order.

Got an eGo-C Twist 1100mah, 2 CE4 V2 clearos, charger, and 15ml of juice for $31 shipped.

I'll probably end up getting an extra battery if I can't make this one last all day (unlikely), but at least I have the V2 cigalikes for emergencies...we're getting 4, so I'm sure my gf won't mind if I borrow one lol

Don't forget the replacement heads for the clearos. That's a nice setup you're getting, you should be happy with it. BTW don't feel bad on that V2 deal. They are rather expensive, but they are one of the best cig style units out there. I vaped and smoked for about 3 years. V2 is what got me to finally kick the habit.

My neighbor is actually a vaper, which I JUST found out! He's gonna hook me up with some different juices :)

Great Find...a fellow Vaper !

MOST people will use 3-5ml of ejuice a day...so figure 30ml=10 days per person- give or take.

Drink plenty of water!
Rooting for you two !

I'll order some when I order some juice tomorrow. Why do I need to though? Do they not last long?

Also, the water thing.. I've seen people mention that. Does vaping dehydrate you or something?

Thanks for the other info too guys!

Hello Pathology and welcome to ECF. If you bought the CE4 clearos that you can take apart, then you can buy spare heads in case you burn them out with the voltage on the ego twist or if you burn the juice so much that the wick continues to taste burnt (you can also replace the wicks yourself, but that's another topic altogether). It's a great option since in the past you would've had to buy a new clearo.

My experience that drinking water helps with a dry feeling in the back of the throat when initially vaping...especially if you are vaping often. For me, vaping would cause that feeling much more than the analogs. I also liked drinking water to rinse out my mouth when vaping one flavor for awhile, since it tended to leave an aftertaste. It is also good to remember that drinking water is good for you no matter what else you are doing (including bringing nicotine into your body. It's still toxic even when you aren't smoking an analog).

FWIW, I started with ego twists. I think it's a great way to start. If you want to experiment with other clearos, tanks, etc, you can use the variable voltage for most options out there. Each type has their own virtues and faults. I happen to like citrus and root beer flavors, which crack the plastic on many clearos. The ego twists are handy for figuring out "where you want to land." Good Luck!

You can buy replacement coils for this clearo from BombVapor:
http://bombvapor.com/accessories/tanks--clearomizers/detail/16/flypage_new.jbox/112.html?sef=hcfp
The threads sticking out from the sides in the photo are the wicks for the coil. The coil just screws into the top of the post (super easy). You may not want to buy new coils now, since you bought more than one clearo. Add it to your next purchase.
I would recommend buying the heads from the same company, tho. There are many knock-off versions of the "same" clearo throughout the vaping market - since BV doesn't specify the brand of the CE4 clearo, I would get replacement parts from them until you can figure out who made the clearo.

I haven't heard of any caramel or coffee flavors that crack clearos. I think the most notorious are cinnamon, citrus, root beer, and anise(licorice). Since you have purchased the "Version 3" of the CE4 clearo, it might have been made of a blend of polycarbonate and polypropylene, which is supposed to resist cracking (it has for me, so far, using citrus based juices). Still, this is recommended/educational reading:

Good Luck!
