I ordered one of the Ikenvape io6 atomizers in 1.8ohm, just received it today and a bit confused with it. They look different than any other atty I've used before and I got the delrin tip to slide over it. Am I supposed to drip on the mesh or through the giant drip tip hole? Also, the taste seems kinda burnt or something. Am I doing something wrong? What volt should I use to vape this? I'm using an eGo Twist. I usually get higher ohm stuff but someone recommended that I get the 1.8ohm to use with the Twist.

I drip right on the bridge (the mesh). 5 or 6 drops if it's dry, then 3 or 4 to top off as needed. I would start out at 3.7V and go from there. It usually takes a few days for the IO6s to break-in and really hit their stride.
I use the 1.8 ohm i06 on my 3.7 volt kgo. Start by dripping 4 drops through the hole in the drip tip. May need to hold the tip away from your mouth a few inches and blow down it to make sure the juice gets absorbed by the mesh. Then I give it a minute or so to soke in. Repeat with 2 more drops. Take a drag without firing the atty. If you get a slight gurgle your good to go, other wise repeat with 1 drop until you do. Thats what I do and it works great for me.
