I’m on my fourth night of vaping after getting my starter kit: eGo-C Twist, EVOD clearomizer, 18mg juice.

Wow! Can’t believe vaping works so well! A big thanks to all the informative posts here that led me to getting a kit that seems to work well for me. Still, I have a few newbie questions:

1. I’m still very confused about who will know if I have vaped in a place where smoking is banned or frowned upon. Like in a non-smoking hotel room or staying in the guest room of a friend’s house. Should I not be vaping in places like that? How long after vaping in a room will all traces of it vanish?

2. I got two spare atomizers in my kit. How do I know when to replace them?

3. It’s hard to tell when my juice is low. Just now it wasn’t producing much vape, so I unscrewed it to add more. But juice spilled out. Is that normal and ok?

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on such a good start! About your questions:

1. I personally wouldn't worry about vaping in a hotel room. The odor, if any, will dissipate very quickly. I think if I was at someone's home that I knew, I would ask, out of courtesy, if they minded if I vaped in their home.

2. I started with the Evods, and they work well. I think most people will tell you that it's time to change the coil/head/atomizer if the flavor of your juice becomes faint, or if you notice a lot less vapor, or if it has a burnt taste. Some people clean and dry burn the coils. You can find info on that all over the place. I myself don't want to fiddle with it, and since the coils are pretty inexpensive, I just replace them.

3. It is kind of hard to tell about the juice level in the Evod, because you just have that narrow little window to check it. Best advice, just get in a bright light, reading glasses, if necessary and try to see where the level is. About spilling the juice, you will get better with practice. You do need to have a steady hand, bright light, and take your time.

Good luck, and happy vaping.:)

Welcome!
Congrats to you!
An answer to question 1 to consider. How polite are you. If you are in a establishment ask them if it is OK if you can vape. The smell of your vape can irritate some people. I like to keep a low profile when I am out in public.

Its a bummer to spill juice. I always did that with my evod tanks. That reason made me get different tanks soon after.

Good luck and happy Vaping!

Always make sure it's upside down when you unscrew it to refill :vapor:

I think I forgot that when I first got mine, too.:) And, to tell on myself - a couple of times I've actually tried to fill the tank with juice after I unscrewed it from the tank - without unscrewing the coil/head part. That is a big mistake! And a big mess!:D

Yes! I've done that and thought why isn't it going in? :D

to ecf PeterLi. So glad you are here. Lots of wonderful people here and they have helped me so much. I use to use evods and ProTanks and just loved them. Believe it or not, after vaping for a while, you will just sort of know when the juice needs more. As far as the atomizers, you will notice the flavor is just not as good. You can watch YouTube's on how to dry burn to get more time out of an atomizer but they are very easy to build. You might want to look into doing that. I personally would have to have more than just a couple of extra atomizers. I have had new ones that were duds. Don't worry to much about that now. You will definitely know when it is time.

Good luck to you and happy vaping. I so hope I read more posts about your successful vaping. :)

amazing advice, fast responses. the people here are amazing. I can see that now, as I am new here to. if you have problems filling....the sell a fill piece for tanks I thnk its about 4-5$ for anyone that doesn't have steady hands or poor eye sight. not saying you do, just saying it's out there. also you might want to invest in a small stand. so you can place your parts down right side up, or upside down without making a mess. this website furnishes every bit of knowledge you are seeking. and it seems that everyone here is more than willing to chime in and help with any issue. happy vaping

1:
Use some discretion.
2:
I used to smoke 1 to 2 pack a day, and my atomizers last me about 3 days; you'll notice from the taste; after a few months you'll know from the taste; for now, you might find 1 atomizer lasts week before it gets so obviously bad.
Dont throw away the old coils if you want to save some money; you'll enventually recoil or rewick or clean them
3:
turn upside down before you unscrew.
You should be able to look in the evod tank window to see if juice is low
