Hello all,

I am currently a tornado "e-go" user and I believe from reading on the forums that it is a 3.2 volt ecig.I am so far happy with the current voltage but will upgrading to a true 3.7 or even 5.0 volt mod make a huge difference in flavor,TH and vapor. Also being in the market for a feeder type mod,What type of juice can I pump through a glv3?I'm asking because from my research I found that some bottom/top feeders can't handle 100% VG juice. Also is the glv3 compatable with all or most types of tanks/atty's/carts etc.I am looking for an all around mod that I can juice feed/drip whatever and I think I have found my ultimate pv in a glv3 but before I make an order I will like to get some info first.

Thanks for reading

The difference you'll experience in flavor, TH, and vapor with a 5v GLV is huge, especially with the right e-liquid.

For an explanation why the 5v GLV is superior to other 5v mods and a link to video confirmation check out this post from Russ (6pointprime) which in brief summary demonstrates:

1.5 ohm Cisco 510 and 306
2.0 ohm Cisco 510
2.7 ohm Boge/Liquid Xpress carto
3.3 ohm V4L coolcart
1.5 ohm 801 (non-Cisco)
1.8 ohm 901 (non-Cisco)

All of these atomizers on the GLV2 clock in between 10 and 11.5 watts. The GLV2 will adjust - without any changes or settings by the user - to produce a good voltage for the atomizer being used.

He used a basic 5v GLV-2 for his testing but it's the same resistor and head-cap (modified to accept bottom feed if you so choose) you'll get with your GLV-3 so performance would be consistent with his results.

I've never vaped 100% VG but I really don't see any reason why a GLV-3 couldn't handle it. Unlike a lot of feeders, you can squeeze the bottle from both sides and since thicker e-liquid would take a little more pressure to flow through the tubing, there shouldn't be any problem.

It's also very cool that you can remove the feed system and use your GLV-3 as a stand-alone 5v "tube" mod.

The native connection is a 510 but you can order it with an 801 or 901 adapter and GLVs are compatible any other 510 to XXX adapter you may already own so you can use whatever atty/carto/tank configuration you prefer.

The only "complaint", if you can call it that, I ever hear about GLVs is that they're not variable voltage. In my experience, the consistent wattage regardless of atty resistance is very impressive and for me, outweighs the cool factor of wheels and buttons that alter performance, and not always for the better. A lot of people swear nothing beats VV but for me, it's over-rated; I'd rather have consistent performance, a truly ergonomic design, and a PV that's rugged enough to last a lifetime and GLVs are solidly built and virtually indestructible.

A lifetime warranty, even for pre-owned GLVs, is a testament to the quality and life expectancy. Unless you get dragged onto the VV bandwagon, A GLV-3 is literally the last mod you'll ever need.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hope this helps.

Scott thank you for answering.I will watch the video that you posted to get more info.I am not into the VV at all.To tell you the truth I believe that vv is all hype.I can't see myself moving dials or pushing buttons to get that ultimate vape.To much hassle in my opinion.I'm sure it's great for some people but not me.To tell you the truth this mod and a reomod is on my short list. But what is very attracting to me about the glv3 is that if i'm in a just a tube mod mood I remove the box. Also if I remember right the reo's only come in 3.7 or 6volts.I could be wrong of course.I just want to find that right mod and I think I did.

Thanks again,

I've used from 3.0ohms to 1.5ohms cartomizers and have had great results; taste, warmth, vapor production, etc. Jay is very easy to get ahold of and will patiently take time out to speak to you. I've had nothing but excellant experiences with this supplier. And a Lifetime Warranty on top, this is really a no brainer, and a good deal.

Yeah, Russ' video is pretty compelling evidence that GLVs are not your typical 5v mod.

I don't necessarily think VVs are *all* hype and suppose they serve a purpose for those that prefer them but I'm with you on the hassle of guessing where you are with click-wheels and multiple button presses to alter the output. Too much effort.

I do believe, however, that if you *need* VV to get a satisfactory vape you're probably using poorly mixed or weak e-liquid. In my experience, if a flavor doesn't taste good in 5v GLV, it's most likely sub-standard juice to begin with.

The other feeder you mentiond does have some rabid fans and fills a niche so I won't slag it but from what I've read of some others' experiences, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be satisfied with one.
