Some shipping guidance?

I live in the country and don't drive down the road to check my mail box every day so I'm hoping for a bit of guidance on shipping. My kit's being shipped from Florida and I'm in Texas so it should take 2-3 days. But while TW has been good about updating my order status, the US Postal Service hasn't at all, grrrr. It's been stuck on package electronically accepted for a couple of days now.

It's still hotter than hell here in Texas and I don't want my kit baking in the box. If TW sent it to the post office on Monday evening or Tuesday morning, when is it reasonable to start checking for it?

based on my experience with recent orders from various vendors using the postal servicem I'd say you will have it for sure by the following monday and friday or saturday would be a bonus

I'm in south east Texas, I would start looking for it on Friday, my TW packages usually only take 3 days.

Thanks for the responses! I will check on Friday. The USPS site posted that it left their Tampa sorting facility Wednesday night so it's probably en route to Dallas. I live a couple of hours west of Dallas.
