One thing I do with my DIY that I am going to put out there for those considering starting up.

I use 30 mL bottles and the first time I mix up a new flavor I like (after testing) I mix up TWO 30 mL bottles. Then when I use up one of the two bottles I mix another. That way I always have one steeping while the other is being used.

good advice! I do the same thing with with 120 ml bottles and always start my batch with about 3 - 5 ml of steeped juice to kick start it

Personally, I'm spending much more money on diy than i did on pre made, but, i was paying only 40 bucks / litre of premade. It was terrible compared to my mixes that work out ok. But sooo cheap. *wallet frowns*
