I'd like to help a Canadian pen a letter to the editor in response to this article.

The person must be in the general vicinity of Chatham, as they are unlikely to publish a response from anyone outside the area.

Nice thing is, a whole bunch of people read it and said "What are these e-cigarette's the paper is talking about?" Someone does need to post a comment under the post saying what a crock it is though.

It may be interesting to note:

He is a government employee whose job it is to push Health Canada's agenda. Regardless of whether or not anyone is able to educate him about the e-cig, (by virtue of his employement contract) the only information that he is allowed to use, to disseminate, and to discuss with anyone seeking help to quit smoking, is the (mis)information which is provided by Health Canada.

Wow, the comments on that turned into conspiracy theory FAST o.o As sure as I am that the interest of the pharmaceuticals is being largely considered by health canada in a lot of their actions, some of those comments just sound like the ramblings of someone wearing a tinfoil hat.

Well it's a sun media paper so the conspiracy theory would fit right in. LOL
