Hello folks, I quit smoking on April 23rd and have rapidly gained a small amount of knowledge regarding "vaping". I started with the Blu starter kit and ended up buying a couple extra batteries (4 total) and then added a "Switchback" with 2 more batteries and finally a Kgo (again 2 batteries). Depending on where I am and what I am doing I actually use all this stuff and since I smoked from age 15 right up until April 23rd and I am 50 years old I actually didn't mind buying all this stuff. Heck, it's kept me BUSY and it's been fun experimenting with clearo's and atomizers, cartomizers and all the other "stuff" involved with this "hobby". The BIG bonus is of course staying OFF the analogs something I have NOT been able to do for 3 and a half decades.

Anyway, I have read this forum for hours and while I am sure it's been posted I haven't seen anyone point out to Blu users that those things have 510 threads AND more importantly they WILL fire just about ANYTHING, something I discovered just this week.

Just on a whim I stuck a full 3.5 ml vision clearomizer 1.7 ohm onto one of my Blu batteries and the thing hit like a champ with clouds of vapor coming out of it. I then tried a Boge 2.0 LR 510 cartomizer and it fired that too.

Yes a 3.5 ml vision clearomizer 1.7 ohm looks totally nuts hooked up to one of those little batteries BUT I think anyone with a Blu kit who tried one of those would be blown away by the amount of vapor they suddenly get compared to those small Blu carts most folks use with them. They also fire the large cartomizers that Johnson Creek sells for their Vea system too.

I would HIGHLY recommend any brand new user try ANY bigger cartomizers with their Blu batteries just to get a little idea of what type of vapor can actually be produced by using better cartomizers than the ones made for the Blu starter kits.

I have seen on here that the Blus have 510 threads. But Also something about not using the LR cartos. And the polarity of the battery is reversed, so dont use any other charger for your blu batteries!

That being said, I found out that with my Blu PCC I can fit Boge SR cartos in there, they are just very snug. I have the Blu Premium, not sure on the size of the 100s. I also have a spare Blu kit on the way that I picked up super cheap in the classifieds.

I have a few KGOs I use for home, but the Blu PCC works great for when Im at work. I tried everything to get the taste out of their cartos, but was always some residual, but now that I know the Boges work, I dont have to order anymore cartos from Blu!
