Since my mom died from lung cancer and I myself used to almost hack up a lung all the time, I've been interested in my O2 Sat number since I started vaping. That is a percentage of oxygen circulating in your blood stream. When I smoked, I'd run 94% - 96%.......it would fluctuate when they put that instrument on my forefinger. It has gotten some better over the months since I quit.

My last doctor's visit, which was last Monday, after smoking for 42 years, my O2 Sat hit 98% strong....no fluctuating whatsoever. I almost had a heart attack! God has blessed me greatly. He has blessed my efforts! (I've gained 25 lbs, but oh well!) I wanted to share that and encourage all of you. 42 years of puffing my life away. Every time I wanted to smoke over the last 11 months, I rebuked satan. The urge went away. I don't think less of any of you if you are still smoking. My daddy smoked for 60 years, but he didn't smoke that much and died from other complications at the age of 96 years old. My mom smoked more than him and she died at the age of almost 86 years old. Now I have to plot and plan how to get rid of this weight.......any takers???????? I wonder if I could sell the fat on E-Bay! What do you think my opening number should be?????

WTG Cuz! The weight gain will taper off once your metabolism adjusts... and sometimes this does take a couple of years. Try to exercise (Walk) an hour or two every day (if you can find the time)... that will take POUNDS off in a couple of months.

I'm so proud of you!

The opening number for selling the FAT on eBay? Simple... 25 lbs. of FAT for "25£" - (get it?... 'pounds' as in European pounds?...)

Rofl!! You two are priceless!!

BTW, congrats on your O2 sats!! That's great news!

I smoked analogs--2 PAD--for 32 years. I'm not completely rid of them just yet, but I am down to 1/2 PAD. I'm still trying to find my sweet spot!! :( I'm thinking an HV mod would work for me and I'm trying to save up for one!

Lady T, you'll put them down when it's time. It's just not your time yet. The Lord is Gentleman enough that He's not going to force you to put them down. If He did, it wouldn't work. The fact that it worked for me is a true miracle as I could never talk on the phone without hacking all the way through a call. You don't have that. I did. I do have allergies and that cough is different from me coughing from the analogs. It's a dry whistle cough. I've had allergies since I was a kid. I am not here to judge anyone on whether they have or have not quit analogs completely. God's got it all under control. As I've said many times.....I accidentally quit. Now how stupid is that!!!!!
