But if I could describe it, I would've done so. Also, I'd be able to exclude any juices that have it simply by reading descriptions or asking about it. Therein lies my problem. I can't describe it, because it's unlike anything I've ever experienced.
The question I posed is far too vague. I'll have to compile a list of every juice I taste or smell that has it if I want to get any help. I've smelled it in some juices I've taken a whiff of at my local vape shops, but I can't remember which ones they were or who made them.
Despite mentioning in my original post that I've come across it most often in juices ostensibly made to resemble Turkish tobaccos, the only juice I have in my possession in which it appears is "Virginia Red" by Boondock Vapes. It's so strong I can't even open the container I put the bottle in without gagging. I don't remember it smelling that strongly when I took a whiff of it at the shop, it seems to have gotten stronger with steeping. Maybe instead of keeping the cap tightly on the bottle, and the bottle itself inside a Tupperware that is also sealed, I'll uncap it and leave it in my garage to see if it mellows out.
In the meantime, I'll keep an eye out and make a note of every juice I smell or taste that has the same flavor.

The ones that I cannot handle have a scent and taste. Mostly in tobacco's and vanillas, and I THINK they may be made with flavors that have an alcohol base. In a COUPLE cases, I've gotten a vapable juice with a loooooong steep, and with some "open-air" time - I'm working on the theory that it's an alcohol issue, that might evaporate off.
Not sure if that's the same issue - but it's similar, in that there are some flavors that just have something to it that rubs my senses wrong.

I have discovered that e liquids with artificial sweeteners there is a weird after taste. After trying a LOT of vendors (40+) I have found the following that do NOT Have these so far: Virgin Vapor, Free State Vapor, Velvet Cloud Vapor. still looking for others
