I am beginning to think I am not cut out for this vaping thing.

So I have two liquinators with a 510 cartomizer in each and the Buzz. Both cartomizers are the same. The first cartomizer I have been using in the liquinator tank for 2 weeks now. I wanted to use a different juice, so Sunday morning I put a the second cartomizer (which was brand new) in the liquinator and filled it up. It worked fine for about 24 hours, but about 45 minutes ago it began doing something very strange. I push the button on the Buzz, it starts to put out vapor and then the Buzz shuts off. It starts out like it is going to work right and then the buzz just stops. I changed the batteries and still the same result. I was really worried that I did something to harm Wharf's Buzz. On a whim I screwed on the first luquinator with the cartomizer I was using for 2 weeks and it works just fine so I assume I have not hurt the Buzz.

I also just tried the cartomizers that is shutting off the Buzz on my tornado battery. It of course does not put out as much vapor as the Buzz would, but it works fine on there.

So what has happened, why does this one cartomizer make the Buzz shut off after a moment?

+1 on what vermonster said.......about the center post touching. That seems to be the biggest problem i've had with tanks. Then I have to use a 510/510 adapter, which of course looks stupid, but at least it vapes.

The tank will appear to be screwed on & resting fine, but actually the center point that makes contact with your connection on the buzz isn't long enough to keep that connection. This is what has happened to me. I'm not sure if this is your problem or not. My husband has tried to pull down the "tank screw on part", but some tanks just aren't made to have that center part pulled down.

Good Luck. I've found that vape gear is all about trying, & trying again. The majority of it has been PIF'd or hit the wall a few times. I was so happy when I let my husband run over my brand new storm tank with his truck :) That thing was a pos.

I'm just glad I have not harmed Wharf's Buzz, that is what I most concerned with. I will try cleaning both ends, carto and buzz, blowing with air and checking on that center post. I don't believe it can be the tank itself as the tank just slides over the slotted 510 Boge and does not make contact with the Buzz at all!

As long as Wharf's Buzz is OK, I'll probably just pitch the cartomizer if the above does not work. I would have felt really bad if I broke it in less then two weeks!

Moorea I don't think you need to worry about that. The Buzzes are built Army tough.
