Since I started vaping I could only sometimes taste what I am vaping, and even then it was not to strong(except pepper jerky). But the other day I had a tooth start to hurt a lot and went to the dentist and he had to pull it. The funny thing is now I can taste what I am vaping? It is still not super strong flavor but it is not no flavor or very light taste. I am not sure why but at least I can enjoy the flavors now!!!!

sorry bu you can only taste salty, sweet, sour, bitter, and umami with your tastebuds. You taste everything else with your nose. Maybe referred pain had something to do with it but there is no connection between your teeth and your sense of smell. Most likely the increase of white blood cells battling your tooth infection triggered the mucous response in your nasal passage (you might not have even noticed it) and decreased your sense of smell.
