Something that needs to be fixed

Let this be the beginning of the movement. A grass roots ground swell of activism to address a gross injustice that has been thrust upon we the ECF user base. This movement is centered around one very important question:

Why the hell is this sub forum called general E-SMOKING discussion? ?

I thought we called it vaping....

Well what i know is when wanting to find info about vaping people look for e-cigs in the search engines. Thats what i did. I never heard it called anything else.

I remember when I use to get those light bulb moments, flip on the PC feverishly type out my brilliant post. Sure I was going to change the world. It always turned out if Id of just did a thread search Id of seen my epiphany had been talked about 50x before.

I'm not a fan of the "e-cig," "e-smoking," etc. things, but that's what we have. I don't use the terms unless I'm talking to someone who knows nothing about any of this, but they do serve a purpose, at least for now. So, OP, while this is sort of a dead horse that gets beaten again at least a couple times a week, think about it like this: A smoker who's looking to convert might google "electronic cigarettes," "e-cig," etc., and that could lead them here, where they can find all sorts of info, as well as the terminology used by many people in the vaping community. "Outsiders" might not understand terms like "vaping," so the "e-smoking" thing is something they can get right away, and know what it means.
