Speaking on my own behalf. I would not come in to a well established forum (especially being new) and complain about the way it is set up. If it bothered me that much I would bookmark the offending link and rename it in my browser. If I did have something to complain about I would handle it privately with the appropriate mods/admin.

IMHO the OP brought the reaction on himself. Not by just the topic presented but in the manner in which he did so.

Really? There are a lot of things that could use grass roots activism, a forum title is hardly one of them. Nobody is forced to come here, there are other forums one can visit if they don't like this one.

As for the 'piling on', I'll cede the point. It's not called for. But it's not really unexpected either.

Anyone else that couldn't deduce that I was just being facetious, relax, it was a joke, and I was bored. Plus I was all hopped up on maple syrup and Canadian beer. And bacon....

Word. I'm not trying to be a troll or start an internet toughguy shoving match. Just having a little fun. All is indeed good.
And for the record I actually hate the word 'vaping'. We need new terminology. I'm going to keep it Canadian and say I'm 'puffing on my e-dart' (cuz we call smokes 'darts' eh)
