haha that thread did remind me that b-12 makes your urine colored.. old trick for diluting and passing a ua along with doing a couple other things... but anyway have you been taking any vitamins lately? if they can change the color of your pee im sure theres some that will change the smell..
Could be a number of scenarios that cause your pee to smell strange:
• you can finally smell, and you never really smelled your pee before
• your body is ridding itself of toxins (smelly toxins?)
• you are dehydrated and your pee smells extra strong
Nicotine doesn't smell like anything, but I'd worry if your pee is cloudy or brown or foamy.

I think the asparagus smell post nailed, except I never eat asparagus. :yuck:
I pee constantly, like 2-3 times an hours often, so was thinking maybe it was so strong to me because it never has a chance to "break up" or be processed.

Is B-12 the vitamin? Because I was taking those too. And B1 and B2. I had dental surgery on the 20th of April and the oral surgeon hit my lingual nerve, causing some damage. But I am not taking them now and noticed the "aroma" before then.
ETA: They still didn't turn my pee colors! Or maybe I was so out of it from the pain killers I didn't notice!

ya b-12's the vitamin, you have to take allot of it for it to change the color of your pee though lol.
OP... Im with you! Im not sure if its because I can smell better or because theres a bunch of Nicotine in my urine... but something smells different for sure!
