If you are sick of safety caps, on your frequently accessed liquids, or need to cap a mystery bottle you snagged at the thrift store because it's amazing... and you aren't trying to carry your liquid in your pocket... i have a tip for you :)

If you disassemble the droppers on a few of your spares (we all have the empty mountain of bottles) the rubber bulb works great as a stopper. (not a pocketable one, but an airtight seal)

Simply unscrew the lid, pull out the glass dropper, then pop out the rubber. The flare designed to hold it in the cap will seal against the neck of the bottle it came off of, and slightly smaller necks. (no screw cap required, but it will still screw back on over the rubber if needed)

I picked up a dozen 100ml bottles for next to nothing, only to discover they came with poorly fitting cork... i salvaged a dozen bulbs and now have a great set of stoppers. and could finally toss the rest, no more 5 gallon bucket of empty bottles, lol. Since the batches don't leave the house (i refill unicorn bottles as needed) this is working out great.

The other threads on bottle re-use look super old, locked, or thin... anyone else putting their stash of empties to use in creative ways? Let's hear your ideas!
