Sony 18650 bar code melted off with green residue

Hello fellow vapers. I have noticed over time my 18650 sony 1600mah bar code has vanished over time (1-2 months). When I clean the inside of my mech mod, I notice a green residue that comes out of it(I assume this is from the sleeve). I am kinda paranoid with always checking the battery for temperature after a few puffs, and rarely take long lung hits with it. The battery looks fine, no damage on it, and have noticed my other 18650 Sony batteries on the road to the same process (bar code starting to vanish). Is this normal, has anyone else experienced this?

This is on a 0.45ohm coil, on a chi you mech mod btw.

Yeah its not a big deal. The outside is green shrink wrap. You can buy new sleeves cut to size from illuminationsupply. Com I think that's the site, it's also the best place to get batteries imo.

Your ok tho don't worry about it those are the best batteries available.
