ive read the vapor joe post about them ( http://.........blogspot.com/search?q=battery+geek ) but other than that, i have no info.
personally, an extra few hundred mah isnt incentive enough for me to buy them. my 18650 batts last all day as it is.

Storage voltage for li-ions is around 3.5 - 3.6V. Mine got here at 3.55V. The first charge always takes a while. After a few cycles, it shouldn't take as long (although longer than the VTC4s of course, due to the higher capacity)

The cats over there at RTD are good folk. I just saw their listing for the VTC5s. good price on 'em.
I decided to keep the vtc4s and just get an additional pair of the 5s. I kind of want to hook one of these up to the carbon pile tester here at work and see what they are capable of cranking out before they pop.
Of course! Would an inductive amp clamp be accurate enough for this type of experiment?
