Hello Vet's. I have a question for you all. I bought a sony vct4 30 amp 2100mah 13650 battery. and a wpn2II xtar intelligent charger. I put the battery on to charge as soon as I recieved it from the vendor I bought it from. But I had to leave for work so I pulled it off the charger while it was still charging. As soon as I got home I placed it back on the charger to finish the charging process. But when I placed it in the charger its showing me a green light like it is fully charged. When I took it off to go to work it was showing a red light as if it was charging. So my question is this. Did I just screw this battery up by taking it off the charger before it was fully charged? Will it ever get a full charge now?

The Li-ion rechargeable batteries we use for vaping do not have the "charge memory" defect the older technology rechargeable suffered from, so your battery should be fully operational.

What you experienced MAY have been caused by the fact that the battery was charged when you received it (perfectly normal and expected). You had it on the charger long enough the first time to get it close enough to fully charged, that the second time the charger showed green.

The best way to see the exact charge on your batteries is with a DMM (digital multi-meter) which will show the exact voltage (4.2 volts = full charge) They are inexpensive, usually $10 - $15, fairly easy to us, and a great vapers tool. Checking the voltage before and after charging your batteries will help you judge the batteries 'health" and when it might be time to order new stock. You'll also be able to see if they are being over-discharged by your mod, or over-charged by your charger.

The LED's on a WPII 2 only have two states: RED charging, GREEN done charging. There is no flickering or strobing between red and green near the end of the charge cycle as other chargers do. You may have just pulled the battery off the charger the first time so close to the end of the charge cycle that the WPII 2 refused to initiate the charge cycle the second time. Did you check the voltage of the battery? If you pulled it the first time at - say - 4.18 volts a WPII 2 wouldn't begin a charge cycle at that voltage level if you reinserted it.
