Hey guys,

I have 3 of these and rotate every 1.5-2 days....the other 2 are totally fine.

This one worked all day and then my Reo just stopped firing. I took the battery out and...

Would it be safe to mess with it? I mean the battery is fine, minus the bent metal on the top. Can I stick something under there and pry it up? Should I put my vapesaftey fuse on the bottom/top and try?

Are you a button masher? Hard to imagine how that happened.... Personally I wouldn't mess with a battery. It wouldn't be worth it to me. And when you replace it/them, I'd suggest AW IMR 1600 mAh 18650s with button tops. They're the recommended batteries, and totally worth what little bit more you might have to pay for them. Actually, any button top would be better than any flat top.

And when you fire the REO, hopefully you don't push down very hard. It takes very little pressure to make a connection. Hold it up to your ear and fire it; the minute you hear the sizzle, that's all the pressure you need.

Hard tell from the pic but it looks like it is a raised platform with three legs. I would slide a stiff piece of metal under it and bed bend it up a bit. It's hard to tell from a pic instead of in person and just because I would does not make it a good idea:facepalm:
