These are Sony US18650GR (I don't know anything about them), the OP is looking for Sony US18650VTC5. The best deal I saw for them was on FT (SKU 1659700), 2 for 15$, but they got sold out almost instantly. They're supposed to come back in stock though.

I had been searching the VTC5's due to well...something else, and that is what came up...and was the only thing that came up. Stupid Google.

Actually, I would blame dealextreme here for not having a clear product designation. I had to looks closely at the printing on the plastic wrapping to find what they were selling exactly and just wanted to let future readers know.

Sure, run a 0.1ohm coil on it, if it explodes, it's probably not a VTC5

Nope! I've ordered from them several times and they're a great retailer. Batteries have been holding up great as well, I've taken them close to their limit just to experiment and not a single hiccup.
