Trying to find some for a decent price. Seems like they are pretty unavailable. Also saw talk of a ton of fakes being made?

xtar is selling vtc5s rebranded. I am sure Baditude will post a link soon enough. If push comes to shove you can get the vtc4s they are the same amp rating as the vtc5s slightly lower mah so they wont last quite as long on a charge but still one of the best around. Only buy them from a reputable vendor, fakes are all over and might cost you more than just a waste of your money.
Yeah I got some VTC4's. My "get the best" attitude is getting the best of me lol.
those are just as good as the 5s like i said the only difference is in the mah so they last just a bit longer.
i bought 2 vtc5s a month ago for 20 bucks the same vendor is now selling them for 60$ for 2 of them , WOW but i did buy a few sets of vtc4 they are stil cheap got the same rating other then the mah so your better off buying a few pair of vtc4 then buying a pair of vtc5s as of now
That's what I'm sayin! lol. The price seems ridiculous when you can get VTC4's for way cheaper. That usually happens with products that are the new hottness lol.
yea lol you can buy 6 or more vtc4 for the same price as 2 vtc5s at the moment . 6 vtc4 will give you a collective mah of 12,600 and 2 vtc5 collective mah is just 5,200 . so the vtc4 is the clear winner in my opinion .
I have a charger for 4. My wallet is best friends with VTC4's for now. The internet is trying to batter me. Pun intended.
That's the way I'm going to look at it. He has obviously been through the same dilemma I have. He even got math involved. Bravo!
yup i have vtc5s and vtc4s and i honestly cant tell much of a difference between the two . yes the vtc4s battrey life is SLIGHTLY shorter but not much and with the same specs and a heck of alot cheaper i dont see why people are freaking out about vtc5s . but to each their own lol !

I was looking for some VTC5's last night and I saw so many fakes out there. I have a B&M that sells them right down the road but I wanted to see if anyone sells them cheaper online. It seems like companies are taking Samsung batteries and wrapping them in Sony wrappers. I guess they all come from China. It's a pretty crappy thing to do because it's so dangerous when it comes to sub-ohming and batteries. You definitely don't want to have a battery and think you have 30 amps when you really only have 20 amps. That probably won't work out too well for your face. But definitely buy them from a reputable dealer so you know you're getting authentic Sony batteries!
