As a long term goal, this doesn't surprise me.
Years ago I noticed the legacy seed companies getting bought up and thought it odd at the time.
Suddenly it all fits when you consider designer GMO's.
IMO I think theses co-conspirators should be looking for another job come next election, what could these clowns be thinking besides $$$.

anyone interested go back and read up on u'r roman history - u'd b surprised how the US and the roman empire parallel.

It doesn't specifically forbid a homegrower what so ever. Look at the summary(I know it's long). What it does is pretty much the same thing that state gov'ts have already done, which is mandate safety standards for food offered to the public. Being that I am currently working on setting up a food stand at a farmers market, I have already read the state standards, pretty similar to this quite honestly. Look up your own state requirements reguarding produce selling. It's pretty much the same here in CA.

More than likely just a response to thousands of people getting sick in the last few years from e-cohli. This has happened far to much due to iresposible farming practices(also mad cow desease...yes?). I think your reading a different summary than I am.

no this is just another thing, a little thing but another thing none the less just check into more of what's going on in the government then compare it to the history of the roman empire
Personally I preferre my strawberries and spinach e-coli free. But..*shrug*..to each there own.

Honest I didnt do it on purpose. I added some links, then realized I was promoting a couple of vendors, so edited to try to put up disclaimer, then BUSTED. As for this thread, I must admit to replying to first page without reaching the end.
This is along the lines of the dust up when they were going to ban FISHING in the great lakes, etc. Talk about getting someone's attention, that got mine. Technically they were going after COMMERCIAL interests, but you must always keep a watchful eye on these fellas, because although they backed way off after the #$@$ hit the fan, TECHNICALLY it could have been used against ANY fishing in whatever area THEY decided was PROTECTED.
Even the Judge agreed with me on his show today when he asked if "Congress could decide that the sun causes skin cancer and therefore we all MUST wear hats" ????
But granted no e coli for me please. I am trying to grow my own greens at the house, not because of e coli (although kinda crossed my mind) but because it's kinda expensive to buy a head of lettuce and only have time to eat half before it goes bad. Bachelor life has ups and downs. Always a little skeptical till someone reads the fine print, but remember the fine print can change right before the vote, so keep one hand on your wallet and the other on your PV.

i know in my city , you cant buy amish milk or eggs legally. you have to go to the slums , ask for jeremiah the great , and then you might get lucky and get some brown eggs.
