I smoked for over 20 years, and quit smoking a couple years ago. The nicotine cravings never really went away. I started using Snus at the beginning of this year, and although it hit the nicotine cravings and I enjoyed some of the flavors, I never really liked the aftertaste. About mid-year, they started hitting Snus with major tobacco taxes, so I decided to do some research.
I really liked the idea of vaping after seeing a few videos, but I never really liked the look or taste of cigarettes (just the nicotine). So, I began my search for a vape device that doesn't look like a cigarette and doesn't look like i'm carrying a tank of some liquid around that's going to get those strange looks / interrogations at work. I seriously spent 3 weeks looking through everything available, and it came down to eGO type devices for me. After deciding I didn't want needles around for refilling, and I didn't want to buy disposable cartriges, I finally decided on the T-Rex. It doesn't look like a cigarette, doesn't have a light on the end like a cigarette, easy to refill and isn't going to attract a lot of attention other than maybe: Wow, what is that?
So, I found a place with a great deal on the T-Rex. I ordered some fruit mix e-juice (also had high reviews for good vape, good taste, and no burning smells). I just got it in the mail this week, and I could not be happier. I had already watched the video on the T-Rex so I knew what to expect. I grabbed me a staple (instead of a paper clip) and filled it up and assembled it in under a minute. Then I hesitated wondering if it was gonna be that nasty choke like with cigarettes (2 years not smoking).
I was pleasantly surprised. it was a nice, sweet flavor hit, with no choking, no nasty odor, and great vape. I couldn't be happier. All I can say is do some research before you decide what to buy. I can tell you, me and my T-Rex are going to go everywhere together. If anyone has any tips on T-Rex care to make it last longer, and what extra parts to keep on hand, and good flavors to use by all means I'm open to advice.
