Im still smoking cigarettes 2 packs a day... Ive been reading alot on this site..
My first kit should be here in a day or so.. Wish me luck with the cigarettes.

I was THERE, exactly where you're at, I had ordered my kit and was still smoking regularly until the day it arrived.
Once the kit was ordered I would look at each analog I smoked with a look of 'you're outta here reeeal soooon, pal', and as soon as I opened that package and charged up my first battery, I tossed the analogs and haven't seen one since.

Happier and feel better than I have in Years.

Welcome! :headbang:

Ive been lurking here for awhile before I took the plunge to join... I got a provari with clearomizers. I have some nasty apple juice that came in today and some marlboro light flavor from freedomsmokes.. Im using a very high nic level that I wont share here but so far since I started vaping this thing I tried to smoke a marlboro light took 2 drags and went back to the provari..... that was weird. Im liking the marlboro flavored juice it really tastes the same..... really weird

thanks again.....

Damn went with a provari for your first PV! congrats.... I started 3 weeks ago and only smoked a few cigs on the third and fourth day because of battery issues.... got a Riva after that and havent looked back since... I dont even miss analogs since I didnt really quit, I just switched! }:)>

Ive done alot of reading on this site and tried to learn the dos and donts I have my pack of cigs right beside my provari I have choice between the 2 I have smoked 1 since the provari... I keep picking up the provari.... Hopefully I keep it up..... This thing vapes like a train or Im vaping like a train... I have been smoking 2 packs a day and I forgot a can of skoal havent had a dip since the provari came in... I got the apple flavor because I dip Apple skoal... but the apple flavor was poo poo Ewwww

Wishing you great luck getting off those analogs and becoming a vaper!!! I smoked for almost 24 years and tried everything to quit with no luck that is till e cigs. It was hard the first week but I was determined to quit and around day 6 things started getting much easier and it's been 2 months now without a single cigarette and I know I'll never go back. This is the best thing you can do for yourself and vaping is so much fun. ECF is a great source of information and support so keep coming back.

Welcome to ECF and have fun on your journey! Remember don't kick yourself if you stumble and have fun with it! It took me almost 2 months to be totally off cigs, had some technical difficulties and what not but it was well worth it in the end. Finding the right flavor has turned me into a "flavor junkie" ! Don't forget to ask questions if your unsure about anything-lots of good info and people here!

Welcome to ECF, puffpuffpass, and good luck!

If you're anything like me and many others here, the transition from analogs to vaping is nearly painless and astonishingly easy.

I smoked for over 45 years (three packs per day) and had tried everything to quit except hypnosis and Chantix. After some research here as a lurker, I ordered a starter kit from Liberty Flights plus some juices. I thought I was just buying a neat toy. I also figured that if I could use it to cut down somewhat, I'd be way ahead of the game.

It didn't work out either way. Far from simply being a toy or an occasional substitute, that Joye eGo 510 starter kit replaced 95% of my cigarette consumption within a week. It's not 100% because in February I stocked up on several cartons of cigarettes just before I picked up my starter kit and juices at the post office. It's now July and I still have a couple of cartons left — I make a conscious effort to smoke a couple per day. After all, I invested in them so, by gum, I'm going to finish them. Full disclosure: I also puff on a pipe, but only at most a bowlful in a day and never in the summer.

I've moved on to bigger batteries (1100 mAh instead of 650) and Echo-e cartomizers (plus I have a Reo Grande solely for home use), but I still have that starter kit, now in its own carrying case, plus some cartomizers, in the car as a backup while driving.

Mind-boggling. Simply mind-boggling.

other than the cost of starting... Im hoping to save some money like everyone else..... And feel better.

I use a provari also and trust me when I say, the savings will become apparent real soon. I went from spending $300+ a month to around $90.00. I was a 2 pack a day smoker for over 32 years and reguardless of the savings, the health improvements I've seen has made it worth every cent that I've spent.

Some juices are better after they steep for awhile. If you find one that dosen't taste that good right out of the mailbox, sit it back for a couple of weeks and try it again.........you'll be surprised at how much different it will taste. Also, if you want a really good apple taste, try Vermillion River's Applewood. It is a mild tobacco juice with a suttle hint of fresh red apple and their Maplewood has become my fav all day vape.
