Due to alot of stress and overwhelming things going on.... I went and bought a pack..so I get one out ready for the smell.... ( i love the smell of smoking but HATE it when i smell it now on other people ) that thing tasted GROOSSSS ... and it did absolutely NOTHING that my ego or riva did not do. Did not get that same awwwww I finally get to smoke feeling. Nothing, just tasted awful and could not wait to get to my ego... but my body is still telling me I need more of something ...owell... wish my face would clear up already..

Listen to your body....I think it may be telling you that you need more nicotine. This very thing happened to me too. I started at 12mg....then jumped to 24 until I felt satiated. Now my needs are mellowing so I'm back down to 18mg. It took me 6 months to make it though this transition....partly because I didn't understand this. Give it time and tweak your kit until you find what I keep hearing people call the "sweet spot." I'm sorry that this is so rough right now, but you'll make it through this. Especially if you realize that that cig did nothing for you. I hope things get better for you soon!

OH
My face had cleared up and then...bam, another break out! I hope this is the last one! I tried to smoke a cig a week after I quit and wow, it was disgusting. But, like you, felt like I was still missing something. It took a couple weeks, but I rarely get that pang anymore. I have juices in many different nic levels but I'm not really sure that was it. I think that a part of me still misses what I remember as being my stress go-to for 27yrs.

mom2-7girls...no worries at all...it's no biggie. I had a pack of analogs sitting waiting for me...as I started vaping. I had no serious stop day, or restart day :) I just had fun with vaping, and it took over...I still finished the pack of analogs I had, and thought I'd probably go get more as I vaped.

To sum up that absolute slurring crap I just typed...just vape and analog and not worry about it. I think that vaping will eventually win, it did for me sooner than I thought. But when you don't think about a hardstop for quitting...its SO much easier to slowly, as your body allows, wean from cigs. I was going to give myself like a year to transition...so I had no stress...but it happened really fast for me due to the yummy good juices available to me. :p

Do it all in fun..

ice

PS...I will probably hit an analog from time to time...just for the giggles!

I smoked 2 packs a day for over 40 years. Stress was always associated with me saying "I need a cigarette". I know that awwww feeling I used to experience after lighting up. To a degree I still get that awwwww feeling when I increase the level of nicotine during times of stress. However, vaping is not a cigarette replacement...Just a nicotine replacement. There are a lot more ingredients in a cigarette and one is alkaloids which many have associated with the craving for a cigarette.

I vape a lot more than I used to smoke. I wish nicotine alone would give me that same exact instant awwwww feeling during times of stress but it doesn't. Vaping has kept me off cigarettes and helps a lot, but it still doesn't give me the instant awwwww and calming feeling I remembered having when I would light up during times of stress.

Cigarettes taste bad now after vaping for such a long time. However, if it wasn't for the bad taste, I would be highly tempted to smoke a cigarette during times of stress to get the instant awwwww relaxing and calm feeling.

A wise man once told me...We are all the same but some are different.
