Could be a number of reasons.

What nicotine strength are you vaping?
Are you vaping a high PG or high VG liquid?
Vaping a new liquid that you haven't tried before?
What voltage/wattage are you vaping at?
What atomizer are you using? If it's an RBA, what wicking material are you using?

The more we know, the more we'll be able to help you.

I see you're vaping a PG liquid. A common issue with beginning to vape is a scratchy or sore throat. PG draws moisture out of everything it comes in contact with - this includes the delicate skin of the throat. So PG is a 'moisturizer' but it is also a dessicant or drying agent. Alcohol in an eliquid will also be drying. Most new vapers are advised to drink water during and for a bit after vaping so the throat tissue can be rinsed and rehydrated. I found just-warm tea with a bit of cream and honey to coat the throat helpful.

Tolerance to PG is usually built in a very short time, so PG may not bother you in a few weeks. But some people need to reduce the PG content or switch to VG liquids permanently. Dilute some of your eliquid to 70% VG. You may need to fall back on smoking a cigarette or two to get your nicotine until you find a PG/VG balance that is comfortable for you. That's ok. Vaping is not meant to be torture. Learning what is comfortable for you is what it's all about right now. If you're comfortable, it will be easier to achieve your goal. During this next week while you determine your sensitivity to PG, try not to drink alcohol; it will only irritate an irritated throat more.

Hope this helps!

I'm using 16mg nic strength.
I'm vaping PG.
idk what voltage or watts, sorry.
I'm using single, bottom coil atomizers.

Suggestion: You might want to lower your voltage/wattage or buy/build higher resistance coils, in addition to drinking extra water.

Google "propylene glycol boiling point" and the first thing you'll see is "370.8 degrees F (188.2 degrees C)."

Google "glycerin boiling point" and the result is "554 degrees F (290 degrees C)."
