Hi All

I posted on here a few weeks back about what was the best e-cig to buy. I settled in the Mirage. I am much happier with this than my Cig Star product. Sorry I'm not up on the model numbers.

But now I've developed a sore throat. In the few days I was trying to switch to e-cigs it seems this has started. I wonder if its related. I wondered if I was coming down with Swine Flu, but no other symptonms have developed, just a sore throat and a bit of light chest congestion and the feeling that I need to keep clearing my throat. I've switched back to analogs and its stil there but not as much.

Maybe I have just caught a bug. The analogs aren't good for it either but as its tolerable. Worse in the morning and gets better with a hot drink, I've not given up smoking entirely.

Also maybe its a menthol...I only bought menthol cartridges. I never used to smoke menthol analogs. Just wondering if anyone else has found e-cigs give them a sore throat?

This happens to me when using PG but recently switched to VG and currently not experiencing this anymore, will give it a bit more time and see how it goes.

Unrelated but I saw somewhere on the forums about PG being processed into Lactic acid by the body after vaping it and I belive this to be true, for the first 2 weeks I vaped I could barely make the walk to work as my legs were on fire!!!

I am a fit and relativley healthy young guy (Besides having smoked manuals) and this worried me as it had never happened to me before even when climbing several munroe's 4000 ft +

Cheers
