menthol juices and sore throats

hi, ecf. I'm new to the forum and an avid ecig user of about 5 months now, and smoke free since my first kit! now I've been wondering... when you buy cough drops for a sore throat, the main ingredient is menthol. would a menthol vape have the same soothing effect as a cough drop? I'm prone to sore throats in these winter months and I'm wondering if maybe I should get some menthol juices and not bother with so many cough drops

well as menthol vaper(and thats all I ever vape) and a former menthol smoker..no the menthol will be harsh on your throat..but a minty juice maybe a little more soothing..I forgot mention that pg based liquids and menthol will dry your throat out even more so you might want to pick up some minty vg based juice

I've never much liked menthol anything, but I find that using a mostly VG juice helps to sooth my throat.

I've been vaping for a long time now and I only use menthol liquid. Mainly PG liquid. I can definitely tell you that it will be harsh on your throat if it's sore. And like vape-addict stated, you can get a "cotton throat/mouth" feeling sometimes too.
