I have a Joye 510, have read these forums thoroughly, and still am unsure as to why I keep getting severe sore throats from vaping. I am a pack a day smoker, and as soon as I received my 510, used it almost exclusively over my "analogs." The real problem arose after a night out to the bars and vaping much more than usual. When I woke up, I had pain when swallowing, and it felt as if my throat was swollen and tight. After a few days, the pain was gone. I have researched this, and I do not think I am allergic to the "PG" juice, since I only had problems after several hours of constant vaping while drinking. No, I have not tried the "VG" juice yet, but I am not convinced that will solve this problem. Right now, I believe it may be the quality of the juice I am using, since I ordered it all from the StrictlyEjuice website. Maybe people say they use cheap ingredients, and that is why they can sell so cheap. My next order of ejuice will probably come from somewhere like Mrs T's Bakery, as they are supposed to have premium products. If anyone out there can give me any kind of suggestions, help, words of wisdom, or criticism, I would be greatly appreciated!

if your looking for quality i here Johnsons Creek smoke juice is a good quality E juice i use them extensivley they are a bit more expensive than most but you can always give them a shot. There 10 flavor sample pack (10 3.7 ml bottles one of each flavor) is about $21 Plus shipping. They also have a VG blend line if you want to give them a shot though i only recomend Tennessee Cured for the VG i wasnt fond of any of the others.

As vaporAdam said the first week was the worst for me too. After tht first couple of times with a sore throat it ended and i only vape when going out so it was either its going to deydrate or not but im still going out and vaping.Everyone is different, do try to drink water while going out or try vaping higher nic so as not to vape as much when your out may work too.Good luck its a solution to one of lifes worst vices.

What DC2 said on more fluid. Also, if it gets worse see a doctor or if it develops into a cold, get some Decadent Vapours 'mentholyptus' it will cut through anything! :)

I had a sore 'neck' - at the back from constant vaping at first - known as 'pacifier mode'. It was the muscles at the back of the neck mainly.
