When I vaped the first day it was rather harsh. Yesterday, pretty much every time I vaped it felt like my nose was draining to the back of my throat little by little. I couldn't tell for sure. My girlfriend complained that her throat was starting to hurt. After one of my vape sessions yesterday, my throat started to hurt just a little bit. I just woke up today and it's starting to get really irritated right between my nose and throat area.

Now this could be because we are sharing and one of us is just getting sick, but I didn't like how i would feel the need to swallow as if my nose were draining every time I vaped. I'm really worried about this because I like vaping. Does anyone know anything about this? Will it pass?

Id be more concerned with the dry mouth. Drink TONS of water while you vape for the first few weeks until you get used to it. TONS of water.

The sore throat could be due to a LOT of things. Could be a cold, could be a PG sensitivity....but ride it out a few days and see what happens.

i thought the same thing, that it was pg sensitivity. tried vg and went straight back to pg cartos and juice. just wait it out a bit and see if it is a cold or whatever. mine might have been sensitivity but also remember that the burning organics in an analog will ...... saliva production as well, so more saliva is a sign you are returning to a more normal state of being.

I had the same problem also with pure pg added 5 to 10% vg helped alot.. more vapor but lost a little favor..

I mixed in a separate bottle 90 to 95% pg 5 to 10% vg shake it up ,added to fresh poly cart.. Depends on nic level to..mine is 25mg.

Oh! yes I found out use hypoalgenic poly I think I had a slight reaction to non hypo poly...

When I first started vaping, my throat was not sore, but it was irritated for the first few days. My juice is 100% PG. If your throat irritation does not go away within a week, I would then suggest going with a VG based juice. Many people, but not all, have experienced an irritated throat the first few days of vaping.

It seems fairly normal, I doubt its sensitivity but being well hydrated certainly helps a ton. PG and VG are BOTH drying to mucous membranes (mouth, inside nose, eyes) so good hydration is a must. FYI Ive been vaping 3 months and still have drier eyes and mouth than before when smoking; other health benefits outweigh these side effects though.
Sensitivity to carrier liquid (VG or PG or both) tends to show in more ways than you describe (and often more extreme reactions); vomiting, migraine, skin lesions, severe itchiness, anything that doesn't cease after a week can be attributed to sensitivity. The problem is some of the same symptoms are also symptomatic of quitting cigarettes.
Drink more, give it a few days, go from there.
