Anyone else having this problem? I thought maybe it was the plastic on the cart making my tongue kinda raw & sore, but it only happens with the green apple. Only other citrus type flavor I've had is pineapple and no problems there. Nic strength is same as or close to other flavors I have.

Would really like to find what the issue is because outside of the tongue thing, green apple is one of my favs.

My thought is that you might have a sensitivity to an ingredient in the green apple. I'm not sure what chemical they'd be using to create tartness, my first thought would be citric acid or malic acid. Do you have similar problems after eating lemons or limes, or granny smith apples?

I've not tried the pineapple carto, so I'm not sure how tart it is.

Haven't tried the green apple but I have an interesting situation with the pink lemonade. I can drink fresh lemonade and I use tons of lemon on seafood and french fires, (try it sometime). But if I drink frozen lemonade or mix from a powder I get a sour stomach.

The same thing is happening with the pink lemonade after a few hours of vaping.

Go figure!

Did you happen to get juice in your mouth? I only ask because that happened to me once, I got a crapload of juice in my mouth when I overfilled a cart (can't remember the flavor) and the next day my tongue felt like I had chewed on a razor blade. I can't even say if that was the reason, but I can't think of anything else that would have caused that??

It might just be the flavoring. I know I'm sensitive to certain extracts that I use to make candy, and yes, they can make my mouth really sore. But I don't even notice it using the same flavor to make a cake -- probably because I use a lot less of it for a cake recipe.

Think I'll pass on the chewable razors, LOL.

+1 on this too. Sometimes i get juice on my tongue and it feels raw.

I think this is possibly the cause. Used a new red cow carto this morning & saw juice on the white cap after vaping. Also had a new pina colada that didn't have any flavor, so I opened it up & there was juice in both the inner & outer caps. Sorry, don't know what else to call them - hope you all know what I'm talking about.

Anyhow, I saw on the refilling cartos video that juice in the rings/caps was not a good thing tho it didn't really say why.

So question is - am I storing them wrong? are they overfilled when I get them?

Really want to get to the bottom of this. The 5% of my taste buds that were still working are now totally gone & everything pretty much taste likes cardboard.:(

Hope some of you veterans can help me.

Ok, I just opened the red cow carto up. Juice on the both the inner & outer rings here too.
They've been stored laying down....is this a problem?
I haven't been vaping them upside down..lol...and I don't think I have enough lung power to really suck the juice out like that.

I don't think so...when I said I got juice in my mouth I mean I got a ton of juice in my mouth!!!!
You would probably always see juice in the caps when you open them because this is where it accumulates to stop it from getting in your mouth. that is what the inner ring is for.
So, when you vape are you actually getting the juice on your tongue??

Don't think so .... it's so dead now I can't really tell. But I did clean out the caps & seems better now.

On the plus side, at least I know I'm not getting dry cartos:rolleyes:
