So I'm toying with the idea of attempting to make my own drip tip. Now I may be one of the last social media holdouts in my age group (13-83) so I don't use facebook (except to order juice), twitter, pintrest or anything. But I was looking on a pintrest thread that came up in my googling process and I decided to look through it for possible inspiration, and I saw a pic I posted on here in the 'show me your girly' setup thread.

 So stupidly ridiculously giddy that someone liked it enough to do whatever it is you do on pintrest that had to share. If you hear any random giggling, don't worry, just the lunatic that's in my head. She passes out eventually.

Do you mean Sculpey? It's not a good idea to use it for drip tips. It's a polymer that I'm sure will leech plasticizers out when in contact with juice. Some brands of polymer clay removed phthalates from them several years ago due to the carcinogens and if I recall it was only some, not all brands. It's fine for making prototypes before making them out of a different material though.

Sally on the topic of making drip tips. Back when I first started vaping I saw a you tube video on how to make them out of sculpy. Maybe have a search and see if you can find it. :)

We're in the same age group!
I know crazy right?

I have seen the videos of the sculpey drip tips, and wasn't feeling the end result. I'm actually planning on trying a couple different methods, I found a thread on here were someone made a clay mold and poured in resin, after polishing the end result looked great, plus if using a clear resin I could play with adding other elements. (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/247545-how-make-drip-tips.html )

The other way I'm going to try it is a bit of a cheat, I found a couple really basic long drip tips that I was going to add clay to shape up. Either way it's gonna take me a while to get it done, have to figure out what materials I want to use and find it at a reasonable price.
