Couple of questions. What is the PG/VG ratio on the premix? What PG/VG ratio are you looking to have after mixing?
Ok, you have 24mg/ml premix and you want to end up at 6mg/ml or 1/4 of your 30 ml mixture will be the premix, or 7.5 mils. Then you want to add 3 ml of new flavoring (10%), so that puts us at 10.5 mils. Then you want to add 15 mils of VG, putting us at 25.5 mils, then 2 mils of distilled water, putting us at 27.5 mils, or short of our 30 mils. Do we know the strength of flavoring in our premix? 10%? 15%? 20%? Do we know what the base is in our premix, i.e., PG? VG? Do we know what strength of flavoring we need to use on the finished batch? What is the base in the LorAnn flavoring? Is it a super concentrate? Do we know a recommended starting flavoring, or a range of flavoring % on the LorAnn?
We know we are diluting the premix significantly. How do we know that the 3 ml of LorAnn's will get us to the right flavoring mix? I guess I do my DIY a little different, never starting with a diluted premix, but, instead, always starting with concentrates and then adding nicotine and base to achieve my nicotine level and PG/VG ratio, though I know of plenty of others that do dilute premix to do their DIY.
With the number of unanswered questions, as mentioned, I don't think I can be of much help to you. However, the DIY calculator is an important program to "master" before you start mixing anything, and to use it, you'll have to answer the questions I posed, and even a few more. Good luck to you! DIY is a great way to go, and is easy like riding a bike. Once you know what you're doing, it's very easy. have you had a chance to study the DIY forum, or watch a few of the many videos on YouTube that deal with DIY? I think the Forum, YouTube and the calculator need to be pretty well understood before you start putting your
juice together, otherwise, you may end up with something that you don't like. Probably will anyway, if you're anything like me, but at least you'll have a plan, lol. Good DIY juice is not technically hard to make, but often hard to make to the point where it tastes really good. Once you have your 5 posts, I recommend you go to the DIY forum and enlist their help. In the meantime, check out videos, the forum, the calculator. Good luck to you!
