I posted a few days ago that I had decided on a Go-Go. They were sold out so I thought I would get an I-Go. Now, I am in Panama City Beach FL and there is a store here. The website for that store is thatsnotsmoke.com. I hope to purchase one in the morning.

They have the
JOYE EGO-T Starter Kit

They are an authorized Joye Dealer.

Would the Ego-T be a good choice for ease of use and a long lasting battery? I still have the trip to Universal Studios ahead of me.

I know it is higher on their website, but I will be here a few days and I thought it would be nice for them to show me how to use it.

Are there other models of Joye I should seriously consider?

Thanks again!!!

That should be fine. But buy some juice. And you could buy a drip tip and some Boge cartomizers to try also. An Ego-T is just an Ego with a tank atomizer that can use tanks. tanks are fairly new, some love them and some are eh. Sometimes someone gets leaks. But it's still an Ego, the original and most popular long-lasting battery model. You could get an Ego PCC case for charging one battery on the go.

re Boge cartomizeers - Ego can use standard resistance or the hotter LR ones that eat the battery charge faster. I would recommend the standard ones for your trip to get maximum charge life out of your batteries. Then at home you can try out the LRs. if you have some cartos and have prefilled them with 18+ drops and cleaned them up and let them settle so all stuffing is damp, they will be small and handy to have with you so you can have some alternate flavors to vape etc. i can get 4-7 days and even longer use out of a Boge if I keep it damp.

I don't know about the tank system. I've read too many mixed reviews and backed off from buying one until some the issues get resolved.

Buy a box of Boge cartomizers (empty), a drip tip, and some juice to go with your batteries in the event you don't like the tank system. The cartomizers will take about 20-25 drops of juice on the first fill and then when you start to lose flavor, top it off. If you don't like the little mouth piece, this is where the drip tip comes in handy. Use it in it's place.

Good luck and keep us posted.

i would definitely say get a ego-t as your first, and like dormouse said its not a special unit its still just an ego with a tank atomizer, meaning that if you dont like the tank system you can just simply get either a atty with drip tip or you can get cartomizers with a drip tip, great amount of variety with that system. i personally just got a inferno-t (ego-t) and i love it the tank system is so easy to use and a great choice for newbies. some say the tanks diminish a bit of flavor which i find is true but not too bad, and some say that it leaks on them but i have been lucky enough to not experience that... yet

I would follow dormouse's suggestion and get some cartomizers and drip tips as well because some people just don't end up liking the tanks. If you getthose it's an easy switch over. I also recommend unless you just are in a hurry you get it from here much cheaper. If you click the discount code button at the top you can get 20% off your order making it even cheaper.

I like the eGo-T 1000 mah batteries with the Mega Attys, type B cylinders. The Boge 2 ohm cartos are nice too. Then I tried some 2 ohm 306 attys (compatible with 510 threads) and then got a Roughstack for them and it's even better.

My experience with the tank attys was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend them, but many people love them. They didn't give me the hassle free vaping experience I was looking for and my atty was dead after a week. Too expensive for me, YMMV.

Well, maybe I should try to pick up my first (which will be a back-up later) from the store today and order online for my better one. Then I may be able to wait for a Go-Go or get an I-Go. I had intentions of getting one of the ones mentioned before and then getting a smaller one for certain times.

I believe I read that the I-Go may be compatible with the Joye KR808D-1. Maybe, I should just buy the KR808D-1 at the store today and order the I-Go set-up.

I want to go to the store, so I can see one in use and even try one. I have never seen anybody use one. I can see the various parts and types. I can see what I have read about here. I don't want to go in the store and get something that is not what I need or want at all.

In the end, I would like a smaller one that functions pretty well for certain times and a good all day use one for my main one. Is the KR808D-1 a good choice for my smaller one? It does not have to be a small as or resemble a ciagarette. Will I never end up using it because it will be so much less satisfying than the Go-Go or I-Go?

Thanks!

You need an adapter to use KR808D-1 cartos on a 510 threaded device like Ego. You actually might want a 510 extender + the 510 to 808 adapter just so the adapter isn't totally down in the metal collar around the threads of the Ego. 510 threading has the most stuff for it especially atomizers but also the most types of blank cartos, the tanks etc. Goodprophets sells both the extension and the 510 to 808 adapter
http://www.shop.goodprophets.com/product.sc?productId=89

There are some other fat battery models that are 901/KR808D-1 threaded and should be able to use many KR8 cartos with no adapter needed (some cartos may need an adapter for air flow). Riva 901, LeCig.com PigCig, CigEasy.com Elegant Easy and the Kanger version of the Vgo (Kanger is the KR in KR808D-1)
