^^ That is correct ...... But yes the stainless in the description is not correct.

Same atty though. But to be used as a dripper just like the RM2 you would still need to drill an air hole in the top cap, and discard the other section. Or you could try it as its supposed to be used but that seems pretty wonky. I would drill the air hole and use it like an RM2 less the BF ability if it were me.

hey commie, thanks! looks pretty close, but they dont say anything about the ceramic (which it appears to have) and why does it have a 3 segment body?

Well, Rob does modify them more than just milliing down the base :) I believe, he throws out middle section, drills the top for airflow, somehow yanks out one of the posts. No idea what else.

The rim around the ceramic base needs to be cut down. A channel needs to be cut in the ceramic and the metal plate that is under the ceramic cup to allow juice to flow from the center post to the hole left by the negative post he removes. They only cost $10 but a lot of work goes into making them a RM2.

They do make great spare parts though. I bought one to get the undrilled top so I could have a spare with a larger hole for when I want to make clouds. You also get spare screws, posts and ceramic out of the deal.

yes, i'm aware, i just want a few spares for dripping only, paying $130+ for this is not the same as $30

Not that I'm complaining Rob's rm2 is overprice, he does put a lot of additional work on the original dripper

but for what i need them now there is no point on paying for the additional work I don't need
