Need a bit of help with my reo grand + RM2.

For some reason I've been getting somewhat harsh throat hit. It's like burnt juice kind of throat hit. I also find my juice turning red around the post which also makes the wick that touches it turn red. I've done 26, 28, 29 gauge micro coils in the RM2 so far (0.6Ω - 1.4Ω). I've drilled the air hole to 1.6 mm or so. I've tried placing coils really close to the air hole to or back where the juice hole is. Any setup mentioned has given me the same result. I'm wondering if it's the RM2 or the jucie that I'm using? This juice hasn't given me a harsh throat hit yet in a different device. I know it should work like a dripper but I'm totally satisified with my trident clone running the same resistance. Any help would be appreciated.

I noticed the same issue with one of my juices. I think the rm2 makes flavors much more potent. Some of my juices in my other mods and attys seem to have next to no throat hit but with a higher resistance coil in the rm2 i get a massive throat hit. Ive noticed my main issue is heavy PG juices. I typically do not vape anything below 50/50 and prefer 80vg 20pg but as of now i only have some heavy PG juice from a b&m. I had to dilute it with vg to be able to use it. May be something to do with the amount of pg and the concentrated chamber of the rm2. Once i swapped out juice everything was fine.

I cant answer your question, but I can confirm what crazyarms said about the RM2 giving more flavor than many other atty's.

I been mixing my juice at 60%vg and 40% pg and getting fine results for flavor and vape quality

if fact this afternoon I made 30ml's of root beer at 18% flavor and its off the charts.

I have had issues with an 80pg20vg mix of a lychee flavor. Tastes awesome out of my cloud chaser atty and mod but in the reo and rm2 it is unbearable. I had to dilute it with VG just to vape it. Adding the vg helped significantly. PG juice does give a harsher TH if i remember correctly so that may be it.

I looked up PG/VG ratio for the juice I have in my reo and it says 60-70% PG. I guess I'll try a higher VG juice in there. Thanks guys.

A picture would help but try lowering your coil closer to the ceramic and make sure its well squonked i.e. wet
