Vendor: Mountain Oak Vapors
Liquid: Southern Gentlemen 6mg 70/30 PG/VG
Description: Southern Gentleman™ starts off with a mix of Virginia, Latika, and Perique tobacco's that have been blended with an aromatic Amaretto that consists of Black Cavendish and Virginia Ribbon. We finish it off with a Tennessee Ribbon Burley and this blend becomes true to the name. It has a strong, present, and well rounded tobacco flavor that will not leave the enthusiast wanting.

Thoughts:
Very new to the extracted tobacco world is Mountain Oak Vapors. With extracted tobaccos coming out much more frequently lately it helps to know the most information. MOV will take over a month to extract their tobacco. Only after this long process will they start the initial makings of a new extract. Unlike many vendors MOV puts the exact tobaccos/flavorings in their description. This is something we vaping veterans appreciate since the usual trend is "secret ingredients."

Southern Gentlemen definitely fits its name. A medium-bodied tobacco from the Virginia and Cavendish mixed with the dark, smokey aspects of the Latakia and Perique. Don't let those last two tobaccos fool you, though strong by themselves they are craftily mixed to not outshine. Laid back but still with that little bit of kick. Not quite "pipe" to me but unlike any other tobacco I've ever had. MOV has created their own pipe tobacco and extracted from that.

As for throat hit, it's not great but still very good. The vapor production is very good as well.

Final Thoughts
So far I've had five different extracts from MOV. Though this one is not my favorite of the five, it is still very good. Strong enough to satisfy any tobacco lover and mild enough for a universal appeal. A laid back vape with that extra kick of dark smokiness, this fits the name "Southern Gentlemen" perfectly. The only negative thing I can say is that the Amaretto flavor is lost in the tobaccos. Not a deal breaker for me but it may be a disappointment for someone looking for Amaretto. Because I've been spoiled with MOV's Sunday Morning and the new release Pendragon, I can't give Southern Gentlemen my highest rating. Still it's highly unique, creative, and plain ol' good. 9/10
