Wow - First gotta say loving the design and wood choices! Second, there are plenty of good suggestions, and I'll throw a couple out there:

The W - Double entendre for W as in Woodsmith and two smooshed together V's for the Variable Volt
Pinocchio - He was a wooden work of art too, no?
WWW - Wonderfully Wooden Variable Volt, and I could only get it online!
