2) DSE801 Classic Pen Personal Vaporizer. Other names for this style of e-cig are RN4072 (Generic Brand) and Classic Pen. The big brother needs a new name.

3) DSE901 Mini Personal Vaporizer. Other names for this style of e-cig are RN4075 (Generic Brand), Pocket Mini, Mini E-cigarette, Pocket mini E-cigarette. The most popular e-cig on the market needs to have a cool name.

And yes that can be used with our 10% pre-order discount on all orders recieved by april 15th, 2009 off our already low prices. Be creative, you may win one, two, three or none, but it's worth a shot.

2) All names must be emailed to info@vaporoptions.com and have "Contest" in the subject line to be entered into the contest.

3) Please specify what name you are giving to each

4) You can have up to 3 names for each model, multiplying your chances to win.

Personally?

I think giving them silly names confuses more than helps. How can a consumer effectively compare your "mystery device" against a DSE-901 unless they spend far too much time on this forum? I won't win your contest, but for the sake of your customers, either leave the names alone, or include them in parentheses next to your fun name.

Good luck on your new venture! I'm not trying to single you out with a rant and do sincerely wish you well! :D

Bellinghamster,

Thank you for the imput. I am not going to take off the manufacturer model number off of the name. I never was going to do that. I may not have been very clear, I just want to have a different name than everyone else. "Super mini" seems boring, however "DSE103 The Midget" puts a chuckle on your face. I'm not saying that is a leader by any means. Personaly think it may offend some people out there and wouldn't use it. Super mini means nothing, a mini what? A midget however refers to something small.

Adam,

Alright, your good-naturedness on a little give and take has swayed me to enter your contest. As well as knowing that you are intending to do a little customization ;) ...OK, free money kind of has something to do with it, too :p

After perusing a little more, I must say that the disclaimer is excellent!! I am hoping to see this become standard for the industry (for all of our sakes). The compatability tables are also a nice touch.

I also wish you the best of luck on your venture!

Thank you for the reply RjG, That works great for the people that know what each model is, but for the guest on the forum who may not know what a DSE103 is by just seeing that model name, may not. But, I do see where your coming from though. A "Blue Monkey Stick" doesn't help the person know what style that is either. That's why I am keeping the DSE103, DSE901 and DSE801 as part of the name. I am proud of those brands, they are quality products. I just want something else to call it other than the manufacturers model number or standard style name, like "Classic Penstyle" for example.

I like the name "The Hunter Thompson" for the 801, because they look like cigarettes with the tar-gaurd filters that HST always used. Here's 2 pictures of him using them at different ages:

hst2.jpg

The 801 is about the same length as a cigarette with a tar-gaurd, they both have the same flat mouthpieces, and just as the atomizer of an 801 is slightly larger in diameter then the battery, the tar-gaurd filter is slighter larger in diameter then the cigarette. They have pretty much identicle shapes.

For the DSE103 - "The V.O. Micro"

And for the 901 - "Puff: The Vapor Dragon," "The Ninja" or "The V.O Mojo" I know, these ones are really random - it's late.

We have the winning names... They all came from one person! I want to personally thank everyone who entered the contest. You all had some very clever names! We will have other contests again, so keep an eye out for them. Below I've listed the reason why we chose these names.

"The Freshman" is going to be the Disposable e-cig that we carry. It's a good place to start if your new to vaping.

"The Sophomore" is going to be the DSE103. It's the next step up from the disposable.

"The Junior" is going to be the DSE901. It is the middle sized e-cig that we carry.

"The Senior" is going to be the DSE801 and is the biggest e-cig we carry and the top of the class.

"The Graduate" is going to be the DSE701 Cigar that we carry as well. This will be up on the website this weekend.

Thank you all for submitting your names. The winner has received an email confirmation and gift Certificate worth $45.00 in in-store credit that can be used on the pre-orders.

These names will get changed and uploaded to the website later today,

Thank you,

Adam
